Workforce Development

Comprehensive Career Services
Through our Empowerment Programs, adults, dislocated workers and youth gain access to career services that include:
Eligibility and Registration: Assistance with eligibility determination and registration to ensure every individual can participate in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs.
Individualized Career Planning: Development of personalized employment plans (IEPs) to identify goals, strategies, and resources that support career success.
Supportive Services: Needs-based assistance to help participants overcome barriers to employment, such as transportation, childcare, and financial aid.
Work Experience Opportunities: Structured, time-limited internships, transitional jobs, and work-based learning experiences to build skills and establish employment history.
Follow-Up Services: Continued support for at least 12 months to help participants maintain and grow in their employment.

Individual Training Accounts (ITAs): Access to a list of eligible training providers offering high-quality programs to help participants make informed decisions.
